A guide for travel agencies

How to notify your clients about flight changes (without spending your day at the airport)

If you manage bookings for clients, you know the drill: a delay, a gate change, a last-minute cancellation… and you're the one making the call. Here's how to automate the alert so your clients hear about it before they leave for the airport.

30-second summary

  • Premium agencies waste hours manually notifying clients of flight changes.
  • FlightAlert monitors every flight and emails the client in their language, with the agency's logo, the moment something changes (status, time, gate, terminal).
  • Activation in under 24h, free for Mogu agency clients during the beta.

The problem: agencies waste hours watching airport boards

Every flight change triggers a cascade of calls, messages and emails. Your client finds out late, asks what to do, and you end the day wired. Multiply that by twenty flights a day and you have an agency that isn't serving its premium clients with the quality you promised.

The solution: automated, branded notifications

A tool like FlightAlert monitors every flight in your portfolio and, when something relevant changes (status, time, gate, terminal), sends an email to your client in their language with your logo. You get a copy. The client notices the care. You don't pick up the phone.

How it works in 3 steps

  1. 1.

    Add the flight

Enter the IATA code, the date and the client's details. Takes 30 seconds.

  2. 2.

    Forget about it

We check several times a day. If nothing changes, we don't bother you. If it does, we alert.

  3. 3.

    Your brand arrives first

Your client gets a polished email with your logo, in their language, before the airport sends its official notification.

Why your client will notice

What sets a premium agency apart is no longer business-class layovers. It's who tells you first. Your client opens the airport app and finds your email already waiting. That's service.

Frequently asked questions

How does FlightAlert detect flight changes?
We poll the official status several times a day via AviationStack. When a relevant field changes compared to the last reading, we automatically generate a notification to the client.
In which languages does the client receive the email?
Spanish, English, French, German, Italian and Portuguese. You pick the language when you add each flight, so every passenger gets the information in their own language.
Can I brand the emails with my own logo?
Yes. In the Branding section you set your logo, color, website and a per-language footer message. Your clients see your brand, not ours.
Does it cost anything?
It's in beta and free for Mogu agency clients. Plenty to start trying the tool with no strings attached.
